The Steering Committee meets on a quarterly basis or as determined by the Steering Committee. The purpose of the Committee is to assist the Project Coordinator by:

1. Identifying and facilitating access to appropriate networks in the region that will enable delivery of the program;

2. Providing advice on coordinating effective delivery and marketing of the program;

3. Providing advice on progress against the Business Plan;

4. Considering issues and opportunities identified by the Project Coordinator with specific attention to sustainable solutions;

5. Providing advice on how to most effectively disseminate key information to skilled migrants and other stakeholders involved in the program;

6. Updating Project Coordinator on training and employment opportunities across the region;

7. To communicate back to the Department of Innovation, Industry and Regional Development (DIIRD) opportunities or issues identified during the lifetime of the GSPV project.
